The Nihon Keizai Shinbun just published a timely article covering our recent event co-hosted with Stanford APARC. Nakafuji-san’s piece highlights USJF Board member Wendy Cutler’s remarks on the complex challenges facing trade negotiations in an era of tariffs.

Cutler draws on extensive experience from her current role as Vice President and Managing Director at the Asia Society Policy Institute (ASPI), and from nearly three decades as a diplomat and negotiator in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR). Her work has included leadership roles in negotiations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and bilateral agreements with Japan.
