Dr. Moses S. Dixon, PhD, is a leading practitioner in global health and social medicine and President & CEO of Senior Connection, Inc., where since 2019 he has advanced innovative models of aging and caregiving services. In 2026, he was appointed a United Nations Representative to the AWWG at the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), contributing to global dialogue aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. He was named the 2025 Healthcare Nonprofit Leader of the Year by the Worcester Business Journal and received the Forttuna Global Excellence Award for Health & Wellness. Dr. Dixon holds a PhD from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery from Harvard Medical School.

Mayor of Minokamo City, Gifu Prefecture. First elected at age 28, he was the youngest mayor in the country at the time. Since then, he has continued his political career while facing legal challenges and is currently in his fourth term. He is challenging himself to create a model for changing Japan, starting from a small regional city. He advocates citizen participation and a hands-on approach, and focuses on education, utilizing forest resources, urban development that makes use of rivers, and achieving diversity with one of the highest foreign population ratios in Japan.

Aoi Furukawa is a Member of the House of Representatives in Japan and Chair of the Policy Research Council of Team Mirai, a national political party focused on future-oriented policies and the use of technology to modernize government. Before entering politics, he worked at Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on long-term care and healthcare policy. He holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Tokyo and a Master of Information Management and Systems from the University of California, Berkeley. He later worked as a software engineer in the United States before running for office.

Ryan serves as a creative producer at Rideback for both film and television projects. He is currently executive producing the live action series adaptation of AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER for Netflix. He previously produced the live action feature adaptation of LILO & STITCH for Disney, the LEGO MOVIE franchise of animated films at Warner Bros., and the DEATH NOTE manga adaptation for Netflix. He produced the Bollywood dance comedy BEST OF THE BEST which will be released later this year. Ryan holds a BA from Harvard where he studied Neurobiology and Economics, and founded Cold Feet Dance where he choreographs couples’ first dances at weddings.

Victoria Houed is an engineer turned policy entrepreneur focused on strengthening the technology policy ecosystem. She recently launched the Recoding America Fund and previously served as Director of AI Policy and Strategy in the Office of the Under Secretary for Economic Affairs at the U.S. Department of Commerce. Before Commerce, she was a manager at Schmidt Futures, funding science and technology policy initiatives and helping leaders advance policy ideas across government. Victoria also served as a technology policy advisor for former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during the COVID crisis. She started her career as a software engineer at Cards Against Humanity.

His inquiry: how digital systems shape human perception, embodiment, and presence — and what is lost when they don't. He founded Wholesome Technology Confluence, a civilizational laboratory between Kyoto and Silicon Valley, to bring diverse civilizational traditions into how technology shapes human experience. Wendy Leutert is an associate professor at Indiana University's Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, specializing in Chinese political economy and Asia-Pacific economic relations. She is the author of China's State-Owned Enterprises: Leadership, Reform, and Internationalization, a 2025 Choice Outstanding Academic Title, and recipient of the Emerging Scholars Policy Prize from Foreign Affairs and the University of Pennsylvania. A former Fulbright Fellow in Japan and member of the State Department's U.S. Speakers Program, she will be a fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton in 2026–27. She is vice chair of the Asia-Pacific Business Association of Indiana and lives in Indiana with her family.

Takashi Matsunaga is a Lieutenant Commander in the JMSDF with over fourteen years of service as a surface officer. During his sea tours, he supported maritime security operations and international cooperation with partner navies to promote peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific. He currently serves in the Japan-U.S. Defense Cooperation Division at the Ministry of Defense, where he works on U.S.-Japan alliance coordination and security policy with the Office of the Secretary of War, the U.S. Embassy Tokyo, and U.S. Forces Japan. He received a B.A. from the National Defense Academy and an M.A. from SAIS at Johns Hopkins University.

Jack McCain is a former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot and international advisor working at the intersection of security, diplomacy, and cross-border investment. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy and later earned a master’s degree from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. During his military career with the United States Navy, he deployed to Afghanistan advising partner forces and spent formative time stationed in Iwakuni. He is the founder and CEO of McCain Advisory in Tokyo and serves on the board of the McCain Institute, where he supports initiatives strengthening democratic leadership and the U.S.–Japan alliance.

With 20 years of Japanese language study, Cameron McKinney founded Kizuna Dance to create dances that connect American and Japanese cultures. He has received fellowships from the U.S.-Japan Friendship Commission, The School at Jacob’s Pillow, Princeton University, the Alvin Ailey New Directions Lab, and the Asian Cultural Council. He has presented work and taught in over 20 states and in nine countries. In 2020, Cameron performed his original choreography alongside Sayo Homma (Dance Barbizon) in Tokyo, Japan in the U.S. Ambassador's Residence. He has received over 30 commissions from institutions across the U.S. and abroad.

Yoko leads work on disaster and climate risk management in Pakistan and Afghanistan for the World Bank Group. She previously worked with Mercy Corps, MIT Urban Risk Lab, and UNICEF, based in Indonesia, Myanmar, and Nepal. Her passion for disaster management stems from her experience covering the 2011 Great East Japan earthquake and tsunami at TV Asahi earlier in her career. She has been an expert columnist for Business Insider Japan, Nikkei, and FRaU. Yoko is a graduate of Keio University and Harvard Kennedy School of Government. An avid hiker, she loves exploring the Karakoram and Hindu Khush mountains with her family.

She began her career in 2011 at the Fukushima bureau, covering the Great East Japan Earthquake and reporting on bereaved families and communities displaced by the nuclear accident. She later served as a breaking-news correspondent at NHK’s New York bureau from 2021 before returning to Japan to co-anchor the network’s 9 p.m. news program. While journalism remains her passion, she is also preparing to become the fourth-generation owner of her family’s long-standing sukiyaki restaurant in Tokyo.

Based in Shanghai, he leads the company’s China business, overseeing strategy, organization, and P&L while driving its transformation toward a consumer-first, brand-led growth model. Prior to joining FineToday, Yoshio spent more than a decade at Procter & Gamble, holding leadership roles across Japan, the U.S., and China, where he developed a deep appreciation for how American businesses drive growth and make decisions. Outside of work, Yoshio is widely known for running marathons in a business suit and shares his journey with nearly 200,000 followers on Chinese social media, reflecting his belief in connecting authentically across cultures.

Working closely with journalists, NGOs, and researchers, she investigates abuses of digital surveillance and advocates for stronger oversight and accountability. She currently teaches international human rights law and supervises the International Justice Clinic at the University of California, Irvine School of Law.

She previously served as Fair Director of Art Collaboration Kyoto, Japan’s largest international contemporary art fair, and now chairs its Ambassador Board. She has advised the Kyoto City Government on art market development and previously worked at Sotheby’s Japan. Born into a Kyoto family dealing in tea utensils for generations, she became committed to carrying Kyoto’s cultural heritage into global contemporary dialogue.

Laura Farrar is a civil servant who leads the Department of War's highest level red team as its Analytic Director. Since 2020, she has used her bureaucratic entrepreneurship and knowledge of military strategy to continuously stay several steps ahead of adversary decision-making. She has previously held several positions in intelligence and military analysis. However challenging anticipating other nations’ military aspirations may be, nothing compares to the high stakes of parenting a strong-willed 3-year-old. She has lived in Washington, DC for entirely too long and has made it a goal to travel to one new country every year.

Henry Jake Foreman (MCRP & ICF Certified Coach) is a specialist in facilitation, development, and implementation of engaging learning experiences for people of all ages and has created a variety of curricula around education, health, and entrepreneurship. He is also the Program Director of New Mexico Community Capital, an award winning nonprofit whose mission is to help grow sustainable Indigenous communities through technical assistance, access to capital, and digital skilling. Since 2019, Jake has been a part of the Indian Country Digital Trainers program with the National Congress of American Indians and has recently become the first Grow With Google Digital Coach for Indigenous Communities.  Indigenous methodologies and epistemologies guide his research approaches to working with youth trainers and communities to promote the health of our biosphere.

Sera Koulabdara is the CEO of Legacies of War, an advocacy and educational organization dedicated to addressing the enduring impacts of war through U.S. funding for global humanitarian demining, survivor assistance, and explosive ordnance risk education. A recognized expert in disarmament, international humanitarian law, and civilian protection, she is an unwavering advocate for communities affected by conflict. Sera serves as Co-Chair of the War Legacies Working Group, an Advisory Council Member of the Campaign Against Arms Trade, and is a founding member of the Global Leadership Council. Her insights have been featured in many prominent outlets including The New York Times, USA Today, and The Washington Post.

Rey Maktoufi is a National Geographic Explorer, a researcher, and communication trainer, strategist, and consultant at Talking Rhubarb Media where she helps others find and tell impactful stories. She is originally from Iran but has been in the U.S. for around 10 years now. She loves finding creative ways to talk about the science of communication, including co-producing, hosting, and illustrating PBS|NOVA’s Sciencing Out, co-creating the SciComm Hotline podcast, and making explainers and comics on Instagram. She used to practice iaido and is currently in love with kendo.

Haruka Nagao founded ViVarsity in 2010 and link design lab in 2018 to support immigrants in Japan and promote multicultural understanding. Based in Okazaki, near Toyota City, her organization assists foreign residents who settle long-term. It organizes life-skills seminars, after-school programs, and online multicultural courses to foster connection and inclusion. It also provides consultation and technical support for businesses hiring immigrants. In 2018, ViVarsity received the Children, Families, and Youth Support Award from Japan’s Cabinet Office.

Nagasaka Mago is an artist. In 2017, he visited Agbogbloshie in Ghana, known as "the world’s largest electronic waste dump." There, he began creating artworks using electronic waste to visualize inequalities underlying capitalism. He later proposed “sustainable capitalism” as a new capitalism where culture, environment, and economy coexist in a virtuous cycle. He reinvests proceeds from his art into projects in Ghana, including a recycling plant, environmentally friendly agriculture, and electric vehicle initiatives. Through art, he addresses social issues and strives to transform and eventually eradicate the slum.

Tomonori Niho is a career diplomat of the government of Japan. He is currently serving as a counsellor at the Embassy of Japan in Washington, DC focusing on political-military affairs. After joining Japan’s Foreign Ministry in 2007, he has covered a wide range of issues such as Japan-U.S. security relations, North Korea, nuclear disarmament and arms control, and international maritime law. He also served at the National Security Secretariat of Japan, covering the relations with the US, India, and Southeast Asia. He holds a B.A. from Kyoto University and an M.A. from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.

In October 2024, Kojin sold Robust Intelligence to Cisco and now leads its AI organization. Kojin is recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 in North America and Japan. He spent most of his childhood in Tokyo, Japan, until he moved to the U.S. to attend Harvard University, where he graduated with a degree in computer science and statistics.

She currently serves on the advisory board of the Marketplace Risk Conference. Reirui is a graduate of the University of Tokyo and Stanford Law School.

Ayano holds a BA in Law from Kyushu University and a master’s degree from the Schwarzman Scholars program at Tsinghua University. Originally from Nagasaki, her early exposure to atomic bomb survivors shaped her commitment to peace and regional cooperation in Asia. She is a One Young World Ambassador, Global Shaper, and Salzburg Global Asia Policy Leadership Fellow.

In 2021, Tiffany founded Artistic Leadership to help organizations unleash creative collaboration in service of culture. He previously held senior leadership roles in the U.S. federal government at the U.S. Department of Defense, Office of Management and Budget, and the Department of Labor. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia, an M.A. in government from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. He lives with his wife and son in Indiana and serves as a volunteer firefighter, master naturalist, and Chairman of the Porter County Republican Party.

He has conducted 2,400+ LGBTQ and diversity trainings, provided educational materials to schools, and advised companies and governments. His career support initiatives have assisted 20,000+ LGBTQ individuals and hosted a major diversity career forum with 600,000+ participants. In 2021, he launched Japan’s first LGBTQ-friendly welfare service, supporting employment for LGBTQ individuals with mental or developmental disabilities.

Satoshi is a professional drummer, music science researcher, and entrepreneur. He had been active as RADWIMPS’ drummer since his teens but was diagnosed with musicians’ dystonia, forcing him to take a hiatus in 2015. He now researches drummers’ dystonia at Keio University and has returned to the stage through the development of “VXD,” a voice-controlled drumming interface created in collaboration with YAMAHA. Additionally, he founded BEAT ICE, a plant-based ice cream business made from koji to support rice terrace conservation. The initiative has been featured in elementary school textbooks nationwide and received an award from Japan’s Ministry of the Environment.
