This page provides our partners, grant recipients, and members of the media with the official assets and information required to credit the United States-Japan Foundation (USJF) accurately in publications, websites, and promotional materials.

About the Foundation

The United States-Japan Foundation (USJF) is an independent philanthropic organization dedicated to strengthening bilateral ties and addressing shared challenges. Since its founding in 1980, USJF has supported diverse initiatives through over $100 million in grants in both countries. Today, alongside its grant programs, USJF oversees the US-Japan Leadership Program (USJLP), a network connecting over 500 leaders from both nations.

To maintain the integrity of our visual identity, we ask that you adhere to the following basic principles when using our brand assets:

  • No Alterations: Please do not stretch, crop, or distort the logos.
  • Color Integrity: Do not change the colors of the logo or apply filters that obscure the original design.
  • Clear Space: Ensure sufficient clear space around the logo to maintain visibility and impact.
  • Primary Version: Use the horizontal color version ("Primary") of the logo whenever possible. Other versions should be reserved for cases where the primary logo is not legible.
