The United States-Japan Foundation and PoliPoli, Inc. recently co-hosted a discussion with Kazuhiko Shigetoku on structural challenges surrounding charitable giving in Japan, in cooperation with the Japan Association of New Public. At the event, Japan Representative Haruto Okabe shared perspectives from the United States, contributing to a cross-sector exchange on institutional design and practices related to philanthropy.
