Dave Cavell is a public servant, lawyer, and founder of Dave Cavell Strategies, where he advises leaders and global organizations on communications strategy. He has served in two White Houses, as head speechwriter for Vice President Kamala Harris and Presidential Speechwriter for President and Mrs. Obama, and served as chief international climate spokesperson. He ran for U.S. Congress in 2020 in the Democratic primary in the Massachusetts 4th district. As an Assistant Attorney General of Massachusetts, he helped sue the Trump Administration and Purdue Pharma. Cavell appears regularly in national media and holds degrees from Tufts University and Georgetown Law.
